Eric XL Singleton (November 6, 1968, New York City; original name Eric Newkirt Singleton; also known as XLarge) is an American rapper who has appeared on many dance music productions, significantly on Modern Talking songs, like "You're My Heart, You're My Soul '98" and "Brother Louie '98".
Singleton has worked since 1994 with different music producers. He worked with very unknown bands in Germany, like Face II Face, Deep Down and Cool Cut. He gained fame mainly through his appearances as rapper for Modern Talking. There he was heard for the first time in 1998 on the comeback version of You're My Heart, You're My Soul. In the following years he was heard on every single Modern Talking released, until Last Exit to Brooklyn, in 2001 (excepting Win the Race).
In 2000, he published his first solo single, Sexy Girl, featuring Shaggy.
After his last single with Modern Talking, he moved back to Georgia, U.S.
He came back to Germany in 2006, and is busy with his solo rap career.
